The Westin Hotel on Westmoreland Street are now offering a gluten-free afternoon tea for Dublin’s hungry Coeliacs.
The package includes three tiers of gluten-free treats including a delicious black olive and tomato tapenade, fruit scone with fresh cream and jam, raspberry panna cotta, salted caramel brownie, popping candy marshmallows, raspberry and vanilla cream macaroon and the traditional Irish ‘hang and cheese sambo’.
We opted for the Most Peculiar Afternoon Tea which also included a ‘Victorian Mojito’ served in a teapot.
It actually looked and (probably) tasted better than the gluten-full option.
